Well, I'm looking forward to seeing how the team shapes up next year. There is still a long summer ahead, but half the forwards have turned over, so the look will be dramatically different outside the top of the line up and the D. If the goaltending is as sharp as it was last season and our forwards are better, we'll have a good chance of playoffs.

Which ones? A lot more than 4 are currently not signed

When you compare Mikheyev with Nichuskin, apart from this last season, there’s not a big difference in skill set, age or career stats. Contract is half as long and not near as expensive.

There is unrest on the Island. Very interested to see how the #Isles pivot from here. Clear they have money to spend. Lamoriello is now in the final year of his contract - can't close the big UFAs. With a new, gorgeous barn, contending for a Cup is that much more important.

Canucks could shift their focus on asking price for Miller. The ask of young roster players and top 4 D. Might have to change. A lot of the teams going for Miller dont have the right assets.
