I think mtl should be patient here, try to make cap space if they can, continue to get some picks and prospects.

They don't have the money to spend on a star winger, who would cost them a ton of assets anyway. I don't think Dubois makes sense anymore either.

As far as I'm concerned, we shouldn't be rushing things and get into another bad contract. Let's clean up the house first (bad contracts) and then think about adding to our lineup.

As far as I'm concerned, we shouldn't be rushing things and get into another bad contract. Let's clean up the house first (bad contracts) and then think about adding to our lineup.

Guess it depends who big of a rebuild HuGo has in mind... if they do land and sign PLD long term, their hoping PLD will be the Habs' Panarin in a kickstarting the rebuilt process way (not by getting as many points obviously)
