the Penguins' youngest player is 24. Their youngest full time player is 25. 71% of their roster is at least 27. 9 players are at least 30. And so many long term extensions. that team is going to melt into a puddle of goo.

It is definitely going to be something to watch them continue to go into the sunset. That said, I get why they are doubling and tripling down with these guys. I don't know if they could have taken a step backward to build again with Crosby. Their eventual pain might be as bad as Chicago's when all is said and done.
