It's clear to most of us who runs the Flyers organization, and it isn't CF... it's the marketing department and Comcast. Building a winning team that can contend for a cup takes a back seat to selling tickets, $12 beers, and $8 hot dogs. CF is just the bag man for this enterprise.

The lead singer of Matchbox 20?

LOL, I had to look him up to see his stats.

23 years old, 77 points last season 20g 57a in his 4th full season.

Previous high was 42 points (10g 32a)

I only mentioned it really because it just gives more clarity on the market.

Darren Dregar reported that there is plenty of interest in Oskar on the FA market. Good for him.

He couldn’t be traded?

He would be perfect for the AVS, TBL or Edmonton. Really any team that needs quality depth.
- mickel25

Oskar could take the place of NAK and not drop the cup next year.

Why trade for something you know you can get for free.

So if the plan was to get Gaudreau and you don't, than you failed. Right or wrong but if that's the plan you need to get it done. If you don't then what was the point of any previous moves.

If he fails this he needs to be fired and you just need to suckj it up, rebuild and trade the mistakes you made. I know it can't be all done today but what was point. Pick a path and take it. Good or bad, just make a choice of the way your going.

Flyers saved more buying him out. I am sure they would have had to retain a little to move him.

Absolutely. Kind of reminds me a a Raffl type player. Of course Raffl was well liked in Dallas and played pretty well. Teams probably see the same for Oskar.

Does that really make sense. In that case the Flyers can move a lot of players to make the cap space needed. However you have to have an actual team.
- MJL

Well that depends if the belief is JG is elite and Provy for example is considered under achieving in relation to his cap hit. The team is opening a hole on the left side of the blue line to acquire an elite winger. Again, it depends if one believes JG is elite. That is certainly up for debate.

PC isn't always about rights it is about respect as well.

PC is mostly about controlling a narrative thus controlling the conversation and putting people back on their heels so they don’t speak up.
For example about 20 years ago a adult daycare home had a list of words you shouldn’t use and are offensive and then have a list of words to use instead.
Well guess what now you can’t use those words.
This kind of goes back to the TD history.
It’s all about context with how words are used.

If he continued coming back and got his game to where it was before his illness. They may have been able to get a decent future asset for him at the trade deadline. This organization has no clue.

Others played the game and Chuck panicked. He is not good at planning ahead. He sees the day in front of him and acts what he feels needs to be done at that moment.
