Last off-season was last off-season. I am focusing on the here and now .. and what the Flyers are trying to do is nothing less than criminal! I have been consistent in what approach I had hoped the Flyers would take this off-season and it appears they are doing the complete opposite. If they continue on this course its going to be a train wreck, and I would be all in on Fletcher being fired and the front office cleaned out! Unfortunately this will not happen until next season, so as fans we have to continue to exist in this hell for a lot longer.

They're riding it out. Any extra years they give to the vets won't really prevent them from being bad (see: Chicago w/ Toews/Kane/Keith). And when they're tanking, they won't care about the cap space anyway.

Yes but if they’re smart they could flip all the vets for picks and speed up a rebuild. They’re not contenders IMO.

Also, do you like the Murray signing for the leafs? I personally think it’s terrible and will cost dubas his job.
