I think MJL is right in that they need a complete FO overhaul. Bring in someone from one of the teams that really draft and develop players(Tampa, Nashville) and tear this down

I don't care what anyone says, the Flyers knew there were issues with Patrick way before camp. Signing Hayes was not just a way to bring him in slowly.

The reason they did announce a “retool” and trade for TAD is because they were the 4th worst team in the NHL. They sucked….they were embarrassing. They simply aren’t going to simply get better with wishes and fairy dust. When one of the best wingers in the NHL picks you as his destination and your too incompetent to figure out a way to make it work then you really shouldn’t be in charge. It’s not like they were trading guys from a top NHL team….the team blows.!!!
