Braun at 1.8 is also just terrible. 2 years to boot.

Easy contract to move at mid year, gives Attard or Zamula time to prepare to playin the NHL.

This is the first time I really hope all the media types hold This Bozo’s feet to the fire. It’s shockingly bad how this team is being lead.

Emily Kaplan on ESPN+ about Johnny Gaudreau: "His family is from South Jersey. He wanted to go to the Philadelphia #Flyers. He was telling friends he wanted to go to the Philadelphia Flyers."

Kaplan followed this up with: “Chuck Fletcher was working to move JVR’s contract. Didn’t work out, they didn’t like the price in exchange.”

The ESPN panel was clowning on the #Flyers. Kevin Weekes points out NJ is foaming at the mouth because of Philadelphia’s ineptitude.

Honestly though, Jonny Hockey puts them right back where they were under G: a middling bubble team and they’ll be stretched to the cap limit for several years. I don’t see much changing even with JG. And who really cares what some talking bobble heads on ESPN of all networks has to say. They need to make sure they don’t royally scree themselves long term with their cap.

4 years for a goon. And a 31 year old goon, at that.

ivan - tony d
sanheim - RR
york - braun

big lol

- hello it's me 2050

That may be the roster on opening day.

After the first time TonyD blows coverage, it'll be Braun back up on top pair.

So I guess we should go ahead and celebrate Chuck finding a top-pair D for only $1.8mx2

A salary cap doesn’t matter if this is how it’s spent.

If you think you want to be assured of a chance to pick high under the guise of competitiveness and keep the seats full with lots of controversy/turmoil/physicality, name me a different sequence of moves you would have made.

I really like Braun - he is defensively responsible, but not a top pairing D.

Oh the humanity!

Great Philosophy to have, lets sign a guy so we can move him. No it won't be easy as it is for 2 years.

Zamula doesn't need more time. He needs NHL time.

Oh I see…Fletch isn’t incompetent…he’s orchestrated a masterful plan to rebuild a team under the guise of stupid decisions. I’ve never in all my time as a fan thought lower of that emblem.

Oh yeah, she makes awesome brownies for the bake sale.

BTW, I've read that the Braun signing is for only 1 year.

Dude, they are not going anywhere this upcoming season, so I am already preparing for 23-24 season! The next draft is supposedly very deep. So I will take as many picks as I can get.

Last I saw, Zamula weighs 170. He needs more time to gain more mass.
