[quote=Tomahawk]You're really giving Chuck a run for today's biggest clown. 🤡
Yep. And cc wouldn’t sign in ottawa. Why would he go there instead of a contender right |

To hope that they could find other deals such as moving JVR. Don't worry though. They had a back up plan. Nic Deslauriers for 4 years at 2.5M - MJL
You’re right. The Lindblom move is proof they were in on Gaudreau and Fletcher completely whiffed. |

If you want Fletcher to be gone, today was a very good day. Only a playoff birth can save him. |

Whoever said this is right:
The longer Johnny doesn’t sign anywhere the more obvious it is that he’s waiting for the Flyers to move cap and teams will smell that and bend Fletcher over a barrel |

I guarantee that you weren't told it was a done deal and I knew that the day you first posted it. That is your hyperbole. You had good information and you blew it. All you had to say was the truth. That Gaudreau and his wife want to play in Philly and that is their first choice. That they hope to make a deal. They couldn't have told it was a done deal because they couldn't have possibly known that it was. - MJL
Yep as always your opinion is fact…
No player ever had deal in place BEFORE opening of free agency.
Yet 12:01 deals signed. (frank)ing miracle agents striking deals
“They couldn’t possibly have known it was a done deal”.
Mjl opinion is fact.
Please I’d love to hear how if they “couldn’t possibly have known there was a done deal” then how do you explain how deals are signed 1 minute into opening?
Also please tell me you actually believe tampering DOES NOT exist?
See how you suck?
Simply say swami I think you’re full of poop.
Then the chips fall where they may. |

Teams are allowed to start talking to UFA's a week before free agency opens.
They couldn't have possibly known it was a done deal for the fact that it wasn't. Can't understand that? Simple common sense. The GM publicly says they are done in free agency and are out on Gaudreau. |

Totally disagree. Ottawa has a nice y oh no team. With still lots of pieces coming AND TONS of picks still.

Legitimately not a bottom feeder any longer. Will they be a top 3 in their own division? 4th even? |

I agree. They were not bad in the 2nd half last year. Of course, they can only wish they had ND and JB. |

Fine, all in good fun, here is a bet:
1. JG does not come here.
2. Flyers average >90% capacity
3. CF stays for 23-24.
$100 straight up? - PT21
You can combine the ratings from this year and next and they wont surpass the Sixers ratings for this coming year |

This roster is marginally better than the post Giroux trade roster we saw last season who managed to have the worst record in the league the 2nd half of the season. Way to go Chuck. |

You still don't understand what is being said. You still don't understand the Flyers cap position. You don't understand the current NHL market. What I'm saying is not opinion. It is factual based on the Flyers current cap position and what they would have to do if they used the 10% overage to sign Gaudreau. What they would be risking. Those other teams are not risking anything. They are already set up to be compliant.

He did succeed in creating the least splash in the 1st day of any NHL team In free agency. If he were an olympic diver, he might have a solid advantage over the other divers for this reason alone. Alas… |
