My hope is that even if the Flyers get Gaudreau that the fans still don't show up. Doubt it though. - MJL
You can't blame fans on that because he is a player they want to see.

He is probably a dude in his 40's that received an injury settlement or won the lottery and is "retired". No way he is close to 70 sitting on the computer all day responding to every single post in this blog. - mickel25
It’s so puzzling. Is he elderly or a child? Either way he’s not getting any human connection outside of this web site. |

No where near close to 70. Made sacrifices when I was younger so I can retire early.

There is no one on these boards who ever "loses" an argument with you. You are a dummy. A big dummy, like Lamont. - hello it's me 2050

Sooooooo...you sold your beanie baby collection?

Posted that earlier. With the buyout yesterday, we'd have 11 mil with my rudimentary guess if we went over 10 percent. Then you place Bee and Ellis on LTIR to start the season. It COULD work but we also have RFA to re sign and a hole on D. Theoretically you could do it and then sort out JVR later as you say. I also don't know what money we'd save with sending him to the A? Maybe a mil? - Hextall271
Yeah, there would be work to do before players came off LTIR. Farabee will be back before December, hopefully. Ellis might start the season, or he might not ever play again - who the hell knows.
They dont get much out of LTIR with the cap space they have now, so they have to go over the cap to really maximize LTIR pool. |

So You made sacrifices when you were young to hangout on hockeybuzz.com from sun raise to sunset? Never mind asking where I’m going with my one weeks’ vacation. Where are you going with the rest of your life? |

I really can't wait to see what plan B is when JG signs with NJ. Fletcher putting all of his eggs in one basket, and he will fail at getting it done. I'm trying to think of a worse GM in all of sports, past or present and I'm having a hard time coming up with anyone.

I am on the record in saying that I do not believe the Flyers' long-term interests are best served by tying themselves into any long-term deals right now
Way too late for that now. They already wasted $25.5m on Risto back in March. |

I said he is UNEQUIVALENTLY the worst GM in Flyers history but Coangelo and Klentack beat him out for worst in Philly sports history |
