Just got Huala, our C depth is Jack, Nico, Huala, Mercer, Boqvist and McLeod. Can’t see Kadri. If there’s a move it’s for a winger that a team can’t afford. Revisit the Conor Garland rumors?

It obviously sucks that we got taken for a ride for this free agency moment but we're sticking to a plan to build around the young core so I don't think it's the end of the world. Just back to slow progression instead of really starting to go for it so I get why everybody is disappointed.

Would be one of the guys i'd target from who is left, Palat as well and maybe Ryan Strome depending on the price. I just hope Fitz doesnt panic/have a knee jerk reaction into grossly overpaying someone to come here to try to make up for JG not coming here. Still options that could be had via trade too.

I mean, they'll be a bubble team and in the hunt for sure if they get league average goaltending and have a PP that doesnt negatively impact the team with the roster as is lol. And obviously health, but thats every team in the league. Bruno is a big time add and should help.

Living in SC now and watch about 70% of the Hurricanes games here on the local channel. Trust me, Neiderreiter is not what we need. It would be the typical let’s do something to do something. Would be regrettable imo

Well the excitement of the offseason/draft/free agency is pretty much gone now. We'll see if Fitz does anymore roster adjustment over the next few months before camp/preseason

There's no legit smoke(Ek doesnt count) of the Devils being in on any of the remaining impact free agents so im not expecting any kind of add over the next few days. Seems like they were all-in on JG with no plan B. Wouldn't be shocked either way, whether he adds another forward via trade/free agency or doesn't do anything and just rolls with what we have, letting the kids fight for spots. We'll see though.
