I hate to say it, but this is beginning to feel a lot like 2015 draft tme. The plan all along was to package a couple of the 1st round picks and move up to get Hanifin and when that didn't happen there was no plan B and the picks seemed to be thrown together at the last minute. Maybe there's some truth to Pasta being unhappy with Sweeney. Maybe Bergy really hasn't made up his mind...I can't believe we are this far into the off season with essentially nothing done.

I dont buy the bit of waiting on Zacha either. If Bergeron and Krejci are your saving grace for this season, you would think that would be top priority. Along with resigning your top goal scorer.

If its not done by the beginning of the season. You are right. If things start out poopty with Marchand and Mcavoy out. Could be a disaster.

I am pretty certain he will be signed but I would love for it to be done with any time now. lol

I dont want to see Pasta play for any other team. But this kind of stuff is one reason why I dont like Sweeney. Lack of information/communication and it makes you think that he will chuck it in the F U C K it bucket and do something rash or proceed without a concrete plan.

I'm even okay with $1M for one year... a "get your foot back in the door and prove what you can do" contract and go from there. Only because he is a big body and hopefully can play like it...

Only aware of this one accusation (at the height of the Me Too movement). He has been exonerated in this case. If there are other red flags then sure, reconsider.

There have been several reasons to suspect that he's not the best of humans. I don't really care to go back and look them up because it not worth my time. Don't think he's very well liked.

Were already barking up the bust tree with Pavel Zacha. So lets add Virtanen to that mix.
