ERod and Heinen could still return. They’ve likely overestimated their markets. - Feds91Stammer
I would imagine, like Rakell, they'd both love to come back too...maybe one of them does, maybe....they're both going to get at least a little raise wherever they go but the Pens dont really have much wiggle room right now for raises for them...especially if they are fixated on keeping Kap and really are going to sign Larsson. |

I also wouldn’t be too fixated on the bottom 6 anyways. Look at the list of guys from the 2 teams that just played in the cup:
Bellemare
Maroon
Nash
Colton
Perry
Paul
Helm
Cogliano
O’Connor
Aube-Kubel
Compher
Newhook
Nothing crazy good in there. Some solid guys for sure. |

I know and I like Rakell but as of now they secured the top 6 at the expense at the bottom 6 it appears. I really wish Carter was not on the roster. - sammy87
This narrative the Carter is somehow a bad fit or on a bad contract is nonsense. He had a great season and ran out of steam a bit at the tail of the playoffs yet he still managed 4 goals. He did also have to carry a massive workload at the beginning of the season and was a big reason we were able to hang in with Geno and Sid out.
I think his contract is perfectly fine and it would probably take a 1st rounder at least for me to want to trade him. |

Newfiehook ...he was picked 5 spots before the Pens picked ...really hoping he eneded up with Pens. Pens ended up getting Poulin...
Yeah I dont even think the current bottom 6 is as much of a disaster as others do, anyway. I think by season's end Carter is either 4C or on a wing. Bluey is solid. If they do indeed sign Larson, he's solid. While I'd prefer to move on from Kap I'm not as against him as others...I just dont want him in the top 6. He's not bad to have in the bottom 6 IMO as long as its at bottom 6 prices, that is haha. I like some things McGinn brings but he costs too much, even still I dont mind him in bottom 6. |

Yeah it’s just time to accept Detroit has a better bottom 6. |

Hey Feds what can you say about Xavier Ouellet as a call up? What's his type of game? |

This is also a boring narrative trying to make Carter look like sh1t. He's perfectly fine as a 3rd/4th liner. McGinn is another guy who's disgraced by RW because of his cap hit. He's a fine guy too. |

Yes, but look at both teams D...
Makar
Girard
Toews
Manson
Byram
Johnson x2
Hedman
Sergayev
McDonough
Cernak
Rutta
Bogosian
Foote
I think our best bet is having a stacked top 9 and finding the right mix of value guys for the 4th. We need a good LW to play with Geno. On that same token, it would be ideal if we could either upgrade on Marino at RD or upgrade on Petts/Dumo at LD.

I believe he said he was slow and not good enough to stick in their bottom 6 hahaha |

Smart player. Good first pass. Not physical. Extremely slow footed. |

I think they all really believe in themselves. My impression from most of their post series losing interviews was that of shock that they were eliminated and that they weren't going to keep playing. They felt they were playing very good hockey...and they were...and should of advanced. Different vibe to it than other post elimination interviews since 2017.
Id say a few things went into Tangers decision and none of them had to do with the direction Hex might go with the team haha - MattStrat
They post interviews from the last 4 yrs are very similar, especially Sullivan we competed very hard and the team played the right way. We get a few bounces our way the outcome would be much different..Im just tired of excuses and losing in the 1st round...maybe im just spoiled...

Not to me. They weren't up 3-1 in any of those playoffs before last nor were they playing near as good of a brand of 5 on 5...shock is what a I felt from a lot of them.

He had 4 goals in the Islanders series as well. In 15 playoff games he's had 8 goals |

I'm an anxious guy won't lie. Sucks to be waiting for something to happen (a trade or two).
Expectation: I could see us landing Dvorak or Petry from Montreal or Garland or Boeser from Vancouver.
Reality: X.Ouellet, Archibald and Caggiula.

I don't see why Milano or Steel would leave Anaheim tbh. They have cap room to sign both. It's just taking some time to round out the contract numbers.
We should bring Heinen or Rodrigues back. |
