It doesn't surprise me you're infatuated with the little b*tches
- VanHockeyGuy

Shut up moron. Not infatuated at all. Talking about economics and analytics you (frank)tard. I think it makes more sense to make cap space by moving D!ckinson and Pearson rather than a young affordable salary on a skill player and someone who is our 2nd best producer 5 on 5... Only a retard like you translates that into infatuation.

There isn't a bigger female dog on here than you lately. It's awkward to watch in fact... but please continue on....

Tweaking the existing roster. They think they can make the playoffs with this core.

You think otherwise based on the types of moves they are making? If they thought otherwise they would be swapping out some of these players rather than just tweaking it and resigning them.

It's amazing how caught up you are in all those narratives you pushed about what was coming with this management. Now your are ass covering by mocking people.

Of course it's not easy, if it was we'd be contenders already. The problem is that when you say one thing and do another makes you lose credibility real fast.

- Sure, but it's a reach and overpay for someone who played with Matthews, Marner, Tavares et.al. and had a career season because of it. Kind of like going after a Brandon Sutter and signing him to a deal that he could never live up to no?

- Ok, I'll give them this, he's serviceable and for a 4th line center he'll be maybe a slight upgrade on Lammiko.

- Is he going to even play much though? I see him as another 13th forward like Ferland was before his injuries.

- Sure, but he has an equal chance of being a Vadim Shipachyov who doesn't even crack the final regular season roster as being as good as Panarin. It's praiseworthy of this management group to woo the most coveted Euro player to the team but it's definitely a risk. Much like Benning and his NCAA signings.

- Sure, but D still the same and no indication that anything might be imminent to address it. It's never been the forward position that was the issue. You'd like to see them have a bit more size and grit and balance up front but scoring wasn't an issue. The D core is so bad, it's an embarrassment and nothing has changed, it's fair to wonder if they really have the brass ones to potentially make a big trade to make big changes considering the history of the top members of the management group.

I guess if you only ever want to see things in a negative way.

I'd say management doesn't see the roster like some that they are going to win the cup or the worst team in history. πŸ˜†

I just think that your expectations of what YOU want done is not the same expectations of other fans or this 6 month old management team.

It will not matter one iota whether Miller is traded or not, you will not be pleased with the return, which is your right of opinion, But for every post that is made that doesn't line up with your or other opinions can certainly be countered.

I strongly disagree with your assessment of this embarrassment of a D core, and just plain out disagree with your assertion of the same ole same ole. Go ahead and lump Mikheyev as a bust that's overpaid because he was propped up by the mighty Matthews, Mariner and Tavares, we will see, but exactly what the same ole management said they wanted and got.
And I'm not so sure every other acquisition is also a bust because it wasn't a Lidstrom, Hedman type defender.

I like the team talent and glad the same ole management team didn't trade Miller because fans unrealistic expectations that demand a trade, and expect major wholesale changes.

Beauty of this place, we all see it differently, and when the Canucks are top 10 league wise there will still be room on the cheerleaders if you want.

No kidding. The pendulum swing never settles in the middle around here... although I havent seen anyone talk about winning the cup. Make the playoffs has been posted by a couple... but most don't see it that way. Management seems to think otherwise.

The way things are going, they are going to bank on Miller helping them into the playoffs. I was sure Miller played his last game after Boeser was extended but now I'm not so sure.

Feel free to disagree, if I'm wrong then I'll be the first one to eat crow and say you're right, but I'm not. We're closer to a bottom 10 team then top 10 right now. But hey, there's always room for you on the haters once you take off the rose colored glasses and take a look around the league and not just the Canucks. I want Miller gone because he's not going to sign here long-term and if he does, it's going to weigh us down for a long time while he declines.

Still waiting for you to list the tradable contracts, prospects, young players etc that had Benning in a better position than the current position this management has. You got all emotional and started running your mouth when I said this but chickened out when I requested you back your big mouth up. You just ran your mouth some more than slinked off....

...and here you go doing it to yourself again.

Sounds good, but I'll never be one of the haters, too much energy and drama, but they could be bottom 10, just don't see it.

And don't see how you can claim being right when you've been wrong with everything so far. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

What actually makes them a bottom 10 team? Other than a terrible PK and some bad analytics on breakouts, they weren't bottom 10 in any category

You are great at complaining but what’s your solution to the Canucks problems?
