Botterill had the exact same vision - Wetbandit1
Botterill was afraid of making a mistake.
You and I both know the situation is not the exact same by any measure. |

Hope they did it in front of Johnson and Portillo

What are you smoking? Adams is just as terrified of making a mistake. |

Not sure how you can say one way or the other that he is.
He did manage to get Eichel traded, and it appeared as though he did quite well doing both in the result and the process.

Right, but consider the following:
- Mitts still might become what we hoped he would be
- I feel worlds better about Johnson signing
That leaves picks and Portillo, who is worth a second rounder to us (if we lose him). Next year's first is really the only thing that I think we would be willing to part with (again, not wanting to sell low on Mitts). - Slump Buster
That's cool |

Hey Lunaion I noticed some red circles on a lot of the ELC's signed, why don't they count against contract limits. Is it because they are still considered in juniors |

That's fantastic, but it really shows how bad the Organization really was. Adams is changing the landscape around the Sabres. Hopefully it works. |

By no means do I think KA is a savior or some hockey god. But he’s the best managerial situation the team has had in a long long time and the plan as applied is worth seeing out. |

I think that this is really the key. There were other GMs and organizational structures - I don't think anyone was really ever shot in the arse with them. It seems as though everything is falling into place for a nice run.

Don't get me wrong, like the plan. Just think they missed a opportunity this year. |

Getting a 2nd line winger and some scratch offs is not doing "quite well" |

So far, yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.
I could give a (frank) that Forton cried. The mother(frank)er's lucky to still have a job after being here the last 10 years of absolutely pitiful drafting. Not only that but keeps getting promoted!
Show me that you're different, Kevyn. So far you're just another Botterill afraid of your own shadow. |

Fair enough. I don’t, I’d rather see the kids play and let the growing pains happen, even if it’s ugly. But I liked Copp. Yzerman is a hockey god and he’s doing it different, but I expect in 2 years both Buffalo and det to be very good |

Krebs is hardly a "scratch off". Either way, he did well given the (very) extenuating circumstances. He got 4 pretty good pieces for a guy that was damaged.
