Anyone want to take a stab at Dahlin’s point total this year?
- Hank Balling

Hey Lunaion I noticed some red circles on a lot of the ELC's signed, why don't they count against contract limits. Is it because they are still considered in juniors
- Buff36

Right. 18 and 19 years olds loaned to the CHL don't count. Most Euro leagues, don't know the specifics on who isn't included. Notice that they don't give Kisakov that exemption.

17 G, 53 A, 70 points. This is the year he puts it all together.

Also, I just realized that Bryson will make more than Tage this season.

Krebs is hardly a "scratch off". Either way, he did well given the (very) extenuating circumstances. He got 4 pretty good pieces for a guy that was damaged.
- Slump Buster

Really? He's got 61 games under his belt and 23 points, not exactly lighting the world on fire. He's nothing but hopes and dreams at this point.

He’s 20. Sure he’s not Mcdavid. Doesn’t mean he sucks

Ok, and? Who was saying he was an established player? Reinhart scored 23 goals in his rookie year at 20. Krebs had 7 goals and 22 points in his rookie year at 21.

And also, there's a gulf between being in the conversation to be the 1OA and being a mid rounder.

If Krebs was 2OA I'd give Adams a lot more credit, a ton more. Mid 1st rounders are a dime a dozen. Christ, Boston had 3 in a row, Zagrapanned on 2, and got a solid player with the other.

I never once said he did. I said he's a scratch off. He is, unequivocally.

You're right, that's unfair to Sweeney, they actually played NHL games.

The kid is a top prospect. That's what happens when you trade stars - you get back a pack of futures. Seeing as 90% of the league either didn't have the cap space or didn't have the stomach for the injury, KA did pretty well. The team that gets the best player almost always wins the trade - *so far* things look good.

That's why you don't trade them in the first place.

It was an epic fail to let it get to that place

Krebs hasn’t even played a full NHL season yet. But you’re right he sucks. Time to move on.

You do know why he dropped in the draft right? Central Scouting had him as a top 10 pick but then he tore his Achilles two weeks before the draft.

Then he’s been bounced around playing for Vegas and Buffalo between the AHL and NHL.

Again, he hasn’t played a full NHL season yet but you’re ready to write him off for having 2 less points in the same amount of games that Reinhart had. Now look at Reinhart.

Not saying he’s a ppg player but he’s a top prospect for a reason, not some middling 1st round pick.
