You do know why he dropped in the draft right? Central Scouting had him as a top 10 pick but then he tore his Achilles two weeks before the draft.

Then he’s been bounced around playing for Vegas and Buffalo between the AHL and NHL.

Again, he hasn’t played a full NHL season yet but you’re ready to write him off for having 2 less points in the same amount of games that Reinhart had. Now look at Reinhart.

Not saying he’s a ppg player but he’s a top prospect for a reason, not some middling 1st round pick.

Sure, he could be great, and I hope he is. In the handful of games I watched and he played he showed some things, but he could also be Olli Juolevi, or Alex Nylander, or Logan Brown. And that's 3 dudes from one draft's top 11 picks.

Gonna be a lot of prospects flowing through the system the next 3 or so years, gonna be interesting to see how the Sabres handle that. Could be very young players blocking other very young players. Good and bad situation. LA is kinda going through it right now.
