Don Granato told reporters that it was Dylan Cozens’ idea to come down for a Sabres development camp practice.
Texted Granato saying he was making the trip to let prospects know that the Sabres’ players are invested in their development.

Murray held the cards and went to Toronto (more wi now than Sabres). He won’t even be in the league in 2 years if he goes not perform in Toronto. Good luck to him when they lose in the first round again (if they even make it.
We only want that pick, but honestly glad the way it is working out.
Go Sabres! What a prospect tourny today! So mange to “watch”, love it! (Not just Eichel or something like that). Adams is doing an excellent job imo, this is how you rebuild! - Lilroot9
as the leafs got a third and a 7th for him
my guess is we would have gone from 9 to 7 and not got that pipe dream people were thinking |

I agree, fans can take it which ever way they Want. But getting slapped in the face by Murray was Embarrassing. Hopefully the outside picture changes quickly. - Buff36
I think it was a blessing more then a slap in the face |

Will see, Terry was in town checking up on the prospects , guess some stuff was talked about. Think 39 or someone brought it up a few days ago. |

I agree, but it still shows a little of what the perception of the Sabres are to the outside. |

That's good news, no doubt.
Hopefully Kim makes a full recovery, but our hockey team is run by hockey guys finally. |

The New Jersey Devils have acquired John Marino from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for Ty Smith and a 2023 third-round pick.
Marino had a goal and 25 points in 81 games while averaging 20:38 minutes last season. It was a strong showing and he's still young at 25. He comes with a $4.4 million cap hit through 2026-27 though, so the Penguins presumably wanted to shed his salary. Ty Smith still has one season left on his entry-level contract, so he's by far the more affordable option. |

Any updates on Kim? Hope she’s ok. I think we’ve seen the writing on the wall with Kevyn being bumped up along with Ventura following him up the ladder. |

According to a league source, multiple teams are trying to clear space in attempt to sign Nazem Kadri, and the center wants to be on a contender. He's ruled out teams not viewed as such.
With all the moving pieces w/ teams' cap situations, this might take some time to unfold.
So what contenders have players that are good but will be cap causalities to make it work and be good for the Sabres? |

Need KA to grasp that 'want to be here' is getting old and not a great line to use when we're getting turned down on key signings/trades. It's a constant reminder that it's a problem. - Lunaion
Ka needs to say it
Constantly, so the fans understand the ditch the Sabres dug themselves.
The gloom and doom posters need to hear why free agents dont magically sign here. |

What position are you targeting for the Sabres and who on the Sabres is Adam’s moving?
Not saying there shouldn’t be upgrades but the backend is now pretty full with Libushkin and Pilut added.
The forward ranks are tight and that with bjork as the extra unless Quinn and JJP start in Rochester.
And we now have all the old, unproven, and injury prone in the crease.
Adams would have to make moves himself and I just don’t think he wants to.
It’s a year of development, sanitation and defunking of the organization.
Grab your fabreeze because this is your 2022-23 squad. |

It's a situation where I'd challenge him to go 1 interview without using the line.

RFA LD … don’t we have enough of those? So it’d be Bryson, Pliut, Hague for the 6/7 spot?
Samuelsson. Dahlin
Power. Ilya
Hague. Joker
Bryson
Pilut

Pretty sure Hague is a LD though...
If he can play both sides then that's a really really good blue line!

I believe Hague can play both LD and RD.
Only trouble with my silly deal is it would leave the Sabres roughly $200K under the cap floor. |

It would give them another $5M of LTIR overage to sign Kadri along with the rest of their players. |

So they can clear cap space to sign Kadri
Taking on Bishop they can move him to LTIR to open up the cap space for Kadri

Still gotta sign UPL but he ends up in Rochester.
I am sure there is a contract out there they can take on
