I have tried to go through every possible line combination and part of me can only a way where asplund is in the top 9 due to lack of defense from these guys
maybe blow it up and roll 4 lines close to evenly
skinner-tage-tuch
asplund-casey-quinn
peterka-cozens-krebs
olofsson-girgens-okposo
vinny - homiedclown
I think I would go
Skinner-Tage-Olofsson
Krebs-Mitts-Quinn(Tuch)
JJ-Cozens-Tuch(Quinn)
Asplund-Girgensons-Oposso
The "()" are switches if Mitts line is getting caved |

65 point production for a full season
honestly it's a character thing for me
when you come into camp out of shape, you are not a guy I want to build around
he can say whatever he wants but at the end of the day, his numbers are down, injury prone and I do not see him as a second line center on a cup winning team and I think we would be better to move on from him for the development of cozens and krebs
maybe a full season on the wing would be good for him - homiedclown

I wouldn't blame him being out of shape 3 years ago as to why he had down numbers.. He looked the part at the beginning of last season and then got sidelined by a freak injury.
That being said I can't see anyone being mad for moving on from him. He could probably use new scenery and we need space for the rooks. |

It's not a problem, but being overly patient with their prospects after watching an entire age group head straight to UFA (or sold low right before they do) is troubling. They haven't established any trust on basic asset management.

Only if they don't want to be here. I could see R2 maybe wanting out again. |

Both easy deals, but R2 needs to decide if he wants to stay.

That is something to watch over the next couple years. There will be another influx of talented players coming up through Rochester. |

Is there any reason to doubt them? I can't think of anything they have done that made me wonder if they were competent. Either way, it just seems like so many people are always waiting for a shoe to drop. |

Also squandering some nice ELC/low contract years for this group, Tuch included. It is what it is I guess |

Boy, if there is a problem getting UPL signed, there must be a major problem nobody has uncovered yet. Go down and play a year in the A, get some call-up starts here along the way, and then split next year.
Jez, where is the competitive spirit with these unproven guys walking away from a hell of an opportunity to do so. |

I just outlined why you'd doubt them. KA let an entire age group of players under team control leave for a fraction of their value. If you screw it up first time around, you deserve a healthy dose of skepticism the second time.
