WTF? Hit 20 points once, annihilating that very high threshold by a single point in 9 seasons. Granted, some where shortened seasons but the highest 82 game run rate was 30ish.
I mean, maybe if he played on a 5-some with Makar, Crosby, Kucherov and MacKinnon.

No, and thank God. But until the last 2 months of the year last year they were still doing a lot of losing. And hopefully that 2 months is a precursor to a good year with a lot of growth. But the point of how this all started. 2 months hasn't changed the outside perception, it's gonna take a bit of winning and maybe bringing in a high profile player via FA or trade to help.
