With team induced Arb, does that walk him to UFA status at the end of the term? He's only 24, but I don't know how Arb impacts that aspect.

I am failing to see the logic in the team taking him to Arb.
I know they get another year to try to negotiate a contract, but If UFA status is the result, why would he sign then and not now? Maybe they can work a trade over the next year? That would seem to ve high risk for the acquiring team.
I'm not following.
