I think the fans who are ridiculing Adams for the 11 years are misguided at best.
Adams should be judged on his

I think Adams has done some very good things to help get rid of the overall stink within the organization

I also think he’s drafted very, very well so far.

I think he’s hired smart people

I also think punting this season, like he is, is not the right move. He will get fired if the Sabres miss the playoffs the next two seasons. No GM survives that many offseasons without results.

People who say they don’t want him to make desperation moves, what do you think happens next season after finishing bottom 10 again? There will be desperation moves.

How many more years do You think Granato survives as a playoff-less coach?

Finally, they are drafting properly, and intangibles are a large part of it. We also saw it with the Trades too.

Exactly. Everyone here is creaming their jockey shorts for this off-season’s big names.

If we get this years crop, we can’t get next years crop. Copp would have been fine but I imagine him much like Ott, a guy people think so really good because he doesn’t play here and a guy who would underwhelm us.

Johnny hockey would be a slightly better skinner and all people on here would cry about would be is he gonna go to Philly or demand a trade to NJ??

This team is missing elite talent, specifically at the 1C position. I don't recall any 1C players becoming available.

There are several players on this team who have the potential to rise to L1 level specifically on the wing in Peterka and Quinn, plus some prospects recently picked. The audition begins this season.

Cozens and Aslund have the potential and have shown quite a bit of flashes to be very good shut-down L3 players.

Let's find out what we have. I think we will be surprised and all this bellyaching will be for not.

Maybe replace someone that doesnt bring intangibles already with someone who does bring intangibles.
