Pearson on the 4th line, they need to get rid of him.
- VanHockeyGuy

With Lazar Kuz and Mikheyev here Pearson's days have to be numbered.

Vintsy don't like those high dollar 4th liners....lol

Golfing tomorrow so perfect. If I'm playing like sh!t at the turn will hit it. Hopefully the cart girl has it. Have some side bets going too so could be an ugly day all around lol
- LordHumungous

Cart girl won’t have it, or at least I doubt it. It’s really hard to get drunk on 2% beer, but it’s refreshing and might help take the edge off. Just relax a little

JR traded him once, his days are numbered unless he makes a real case for himself at camp.

With Kuz and Mikheyev for top 9 is looking sharp. Pearson's speed will be the issue. The guy finds ways to score here/there but man we only need so many empty -netters...

Atm maybe he’s a B prospect that has time to develop & give us depth. He tested out as a beast in strength. Tells me he’s committed.
- Nighthawk

Caps got a good one there.

Lekkeramki, good value for that pick but knowing Chesley would have been there. Could have traded down and picked up a 2nd.

I’ve no solution to move Pearson. Doubt he’s easy to move. He’ll probably bounce around the top 9 while the new guys find their comfort zone. That said watch he’ll be top line with Miller again lol

I wonder if Woo can lose the injury bug & finally develop into top 4 potential. He needs a big camp & a great AHL season. Hopefully Abby year 2 can develop & produce legit call ups.

Probably have to pack him up with a pick or roster player/prospect.

Pearson-Hogs-2nd might be the new Ballard-Raymond-3rd.

Not so much hyped but definitely too much press on name alone. Still he has to show more maturity & consistency. His resume isn’t looking very promising. 3rd year in the AHL & time he exerts himself & impacts the game.

By van media and fans, because aside from OJ he was our only high draft pick Dman until Hughes.

Could of possibly had elias Salmonsson taken 55th by wpg. Another rhd with size. Wpg has already signed him.

Winnipeg is going to run out of time for D prospects needing waivers soon. Might be able to pawn a forward off for a D.

They could use fwd depth. Pearson for Demelo.

Here’s hoping his game takes a leap forward in a consistent big way.

Softest 6'3" 200 lb kid who literally was quote "afraid to engage" when he was playing against his own age group. Poor stats for an offensive defencemen in a lower tier jr league. Poor hands. Poor decision making.

Drafted a kid who could skate, that's it, in the 3rd round like (frank).

As you mention about Woo earlier and G. Brisebois the same boat. The character of Van prospects is not one of cut throat. Brisebois probably has the talent to play in the NHL but the drive to make an impact nightly seems lacking.

No assertiveness to be NHLers. Something is lacking & playing it safe doesn’t bring out the best in them. Idk if personality or coached outta them to push their skill sets. Sometimes I gotta believe prospects are moulded & not given opportunity to let loose & play their game. Stifles skillsets instead of improving all around game later on.

Any local suggestions I should try?

4Mile Pub….Mossaic IPA is really good. They bottle it and sell it at most beer stores. Try it.

Risk reward should be encouraged. Prospects are far too young to try changing what comes to them naturally. By this I mean they could get overloaded or overwhelmed on fixing holes in their game. That should be more the focus once they establish their skill sets in the AHL or Europe. Maturity & pro ready is for the select few that are drafted. Skating is always a skill that is the exception to work on.

BS. IPA drinkers are all wannabe’s. A bunch of hipster doofuses trying to be cool. They try to look knowledgeable and talk about obscure types of hops. They don’t actually like the beer but don’t want to admit it because they think they won’t be cool.
- TurdFergeson

you need to lay off the weed and expand your palate son, there’s some great IPA’s out there.
