Maybe he’s pissed that Arlington Park closed? Who cares? The important thing is that I don’t have to hear him anymore…makes me a happy human. - Ogilthorpe2
I really hope it isn't Colby Cohen just watching that scrimmage i had to turn the volume off.
Gambling, so glad that isn't one of my vices. End up losing everything eventually, several times. |

JHawk, wow, never use 100 words when 1000 will say the same thing....
Wise went to BU not BC.
Cap Friendly may be wrong on when the Hawks have to sign him by. The rule is 30 days after his NCAA eligibility ends. If Wise is committed to playing at OSU, then Hawks rights should expire 30 days after his last college game. If he signs a ELC before then he is no longer eligible for NCAA play. - TheTrob
The player I was talking about how had high exoectations but was very average first half of his career, is Philippe Boucher. I fixed the typing but the post is still rather long |

This season is going to be that much more painful having to listen to Cohen. The fans have suffered enough. Guy can’t help but talk about himself. |

They are reaching out to former players, Cohen can continually talk about his 2 games in the NHL. Sharp would be a good replacement.

Wise or no Wise in the Blackhawk future, probably isn't gonna be a big deal. What are the odds that he turns into something at this point? |

Wasn't as much Edzo as the Edzo/Foley combination. - TheTrob
I’d rather have Foley back than Edzo….that said I’m glad they’re both gone. It was time. |

Yeah I heard that one, when then I also "when I played against him..."
But what really bothered me when early in the year Colby was with another you play by play guy and they went off the play for these long periods with their best iimitation of Foley and Eddie, where they go off subject talking about each other (fondly in Eddie and Pat's case).
Colby and this play by play would let go in the pissing war. It was a subject referred to over later and then again, as if Colby just couldn't take what he thought was being one upped. (Anybody remember this?)
and even when he is down at ringside, he talks too much.
I also remember a game when he was down there with Eddie and Pat and they basically "checked" him to the third tier where his voice belongs.

Appears Hawks were blindsided, thought they had a verbal with Eddie. Eddie's brother is assistant GM in Seattle |

Blackhawks have reportedly signed speedy winger Buddy Robinson to a 1-year/2-way contract. Big, too, at 6'6" 235 lbs. |

Buddy stands 6’-6’’ strong forward in the AHL but just might get a chance in the Chicago line up.?

I think they can only get paid for their marketing rights to remain an amateur, not for signing a pro contract. - LAHawk
They can be paid "expenses." In the SEC that means the leases on a Ferrari and Bentley, Penthouse in Birmingham, nightly meals at Sullivans, jewelry from Harry Winston and clothes custom tailored in London. |

No, they have plenty of roles for every hockey org. However, the female broadcasters that were on last year in hockey made for a horrible viewing experience in my opinion. Leah Hextall in particular made me mute my tv. |

Just like Richardson and Davidson need players to buy in on the rebuild, the Blackhawks need fans to buy in on the growing pains that will come. How? With someone like Eddie Olczyk — a trusted, credible, local institution — holding their hands.
Now what?
FFS, no one needs their hand held by Olczyk. It's a sport people watch in their free time, not learning how to drive. What a pud.
Now what? Now they find someone else to talk about ice cream while the game is going on... |

So because one female broadcaster wasn’t very good think all of them aren’t? Pierre Maguire is an awful hockey colour guy, does that make you think all men aren’t qualified to be hockey announcers? |

I find it amusing that so many people (on twitter more so than here) are more upset about this blathering human cliche machine choosing to leave than they were about a 24 year old, 40 goal scoring, future face of a franchise player being traded for jack (frank)ing poop. |
