Hopefully, they accidentally did the right thing. Only fear now is JVR puts up 28 plus goals, making the team better |

Interesting Development: Apparently a consent video. What a nightmare to be in for all parties. From what I understand, the young woman had already received a very large settlement from hockey canada.

The regular buyout period normally lasts around 15 days or so. Not sure if that has passed or not. If MacEwen winds up going to arbitration. The Flyers will have another buyout period later in the summer. - MJL
Tell me, if he does anything else but accept their original offer the flyers can walk away and he becomes an FA?
If correct, walk the fxck away |

I have had the displeasure of researching shoulder injuries. I was tripped from behind last week and went shoulder into boards. Only a grade 3 dislocation to AC joint, no surgery. I have now spoke to some who had the same and ones who had surgery. Frost losing a year seems like a no brainer. Maybe some on here have had the same.
Kid deserves this year, solid progress should be the expectation, but I feel like with some, even if he takes a nice step forward the goal posts will be moved |

Hopefully he plays a full season. That is the minimum for me. I would like to see him get 40+ points.

She did but there is a new investigation in the case now. Before, the players could volunteer to be interviewed, not the must come in for an interview. The woman also did not with to go public, now she is willing to.

Player elected Arbitration Settlements of 1 year and greater than $4,538,958, Club can walk away from the awarded salary, making the player a UFA

How can you go public if you took a settlement? Would assume whatever in the settlement would forbid that. |

I hear they are able to sort it by oldest to youngest OR youngest to oldest. Next they are going to evaluate pivot tables. |

Gaudreau: "Oh, geez..."

The Flyers and Minnesota Wild on Monday were named the 2021-22 winners of the Richard Dillman Award, presented annually to honor the work of outstanding NHL PR staffs.
Philly was named the best in the Eastern Conference, while the Wild won in the West

I would say that’s false. It seems like it’s more of an internal Canada thing now. |

so if Clarke and Holmgren are really running things like many say, you don't think they wouldn't have wanted JG based on how they performed as a GM?
This decision was all Chuck, so maybe Chuck just didn't want JG for whatever reason.
"Gaudreau was on Chicklets. He said the Flyers told him before free agency day they were out because they couldn’t make it work cap space wise.

Tony D on the Cam and Strick podcast said there was a group chat with him Gaudreau and Hayes prior to JG signing. Couldn’t imagine how hard they bashed Fletcher for his incompetence. I hope it gets leaked somehow. |

Apparently, Hockey Canada has a reserve fund to settle sexual assault allegations without involving the insurance company. Seems like they expect and excuse this type of behavior. That is pretty awful.

I have given up on trying to solve the random number generator that is our FO. Is it Chuck? Is it Bobby? The media reports, if true, make it sound like it is never Chuck as he needs some kind of validation for everything he does. All I know is our roster gets worse every year that he is GM. And, even when they have several years to plan for it, they can't execute a salary dump to make room for a local kid who has the speed and finesse that we need so much and that will bring fans back to the arena. |
