There is always that but bottom 10 is a bit much for this roster. Many teams losing 2 key injuries would face a similar fate. The D play will be the decider.

Much depends on how well training camp goes & if a fresh start without Green goes as expected.

Fair enough, I just think this team has less depth than most. Already relying on rookies, sophomores and unprovens in their role. Couple go down and we're into abbostford guys that nobody really wanted instead of prospects in development.

I know I've harped on this many times before, but the eye test for me said demko held them in or won many games for them last year. I don't know if he can consistently fair as well under that kind of onslaught, or not get fatigued/injured. It wasn't necessarily the volume always, it was the quality of chances given up by this team - in particular that D core you mention.

Not so sure I agree on depth other than the D a bit. Team D improved & cannot lay it all on the D. Still there is more to do & improve on.

Should help AHL depth at least. Best case scenario is Abby takes another step & becomes a force so as a good breeding ground to develop prospects. The better the team can do the better the competition to turn out good call ups.
