Looking around the league looking for a Miller destination…
Cup window closing teams:
Capitals
Bruins
Flames
…maybe more
Caps have Backstrom on the shelf & serious concerns over being healthy. If LTIRetires they need a top 6 C. Cap space is iffy but it’s doable if they can shuffle it up.
Bruins lack 2 top C’s & Coyle isn’t the answer. Do they retool or go for it?
Flames well idgaf lol
What others could make the push to go over the top?
Canes
NYR
Canes play a good team D game & have the assets to deal if all in
NYR has a ton of assets.
Other teams idk but suggest away. |

Hopefully Van can get him back. He's ready to break out now. - manvanfan
a slow, undersized winger, shocking that he's a tweener |

What a bunch of shyte! - VanHockeyGuy
I saw Lind play in the AHL, it seemed obvious that he doesnt have NHL speed or strength
Could've had Hague |

I've watched him for 3 years in Kelowna. 6'1 isn't undersized, he can skate. He needs to fill out a bit. 23 years old.
That said I'm not a scout |

When he had 2nds JB took tweeners. There was a reason they so-called dropped. Good that we have a new regime that sees the holes we have but very difficult to fill given our assets etc. |

Not NHL skating levels. If so he’d be a bottom 6 player that isn’t lost in Seattle. |

Read some good scouting reports on him. He still needs to pass the HB eye test though! |

I meant in terms of weight, or I guess strength. He was fine by WHL standards but even in the AHL he was getting outmuscled and struggling to get separation from career AHL'ers with speed. If you're not strong or fast then you need to have high level skill/hockey sense (by nhl standards, not AHL/WHL) and he doesn't
He's a tweener, not shame in that, he'll carve out a career as a call-up guy.
I used to say the same thing about Granlund, wasn't fast(people got excited because he had that breakway during his first game in vancouver) but he was an average skater and not strong by NHL standards and not skilled/smart enough to makeup for it.
It's a shame because if you gave a guy like Kole Lind, the speed/size a dumbass like Virtanen has, you'd have a nice player |

McCann is a locker room problem, how many teams has he been on since? Forsling was tough, but even Chicago and Carolina both didn't think much of him - Nucker101
People say JTM is as well?
The best thing is Elmer is most likely done in the NHL. |
