Kapanen for a bag of pucks. Somewhere out there there has to be a team with an extra bag of pucks and some extra cap space, to take on this horrible deal.

I never said Palffy was the best but he certainly was a GREAT signing. Too bad he balked to Europe. I was a big fan before he even signed with us.

DK reported that Evgeni Malkin spent some time in Florida after the season ended but he has since returned to Russia and has been working out and skating in Moscow. There have been concerns about Russian players in their home country this summer --

Hopefully, Malkin doesn't have any travel issues returning before camp...Most teams are highly encouraging their Russian players not to travel back to their home country. ...I believe Malkin became a us citizen in 2019...

I'm going by memory here, but I think it was during this time that fellow Czech Robert Lang (who had taken Jiri under his wing and even into his home ) tied him up and hid him in his basement behind the washing machine because Jiri had sex with Lang's wife. Now, I could be mistaken and even libelous with that statement so don't go telling your friends. I'm just trying to remember the details and some of them are a bit fuzzy. But Jiri definitely had sexual intercourse with Robert Lang's wife. That did happen.

They will probably have to move Nyquist. They are 6.3 over the cap. That or a couple medium contracts. They would be in a little better shape if they didn't sign Guddy to that 4mil per contract

Malkin and Ovechkin are both buddies with Putin and havent said anything about the war. No chance he has any issues.

And if he does... we snuck him out of Russia once, we can do it again.

Bob Errey was just on local radio stating that the kapanen contract was too much especially for someone who is a tweaner playing on the 3rd line.

Also, said the Pens are too old.and.the.injuries for Malkin and crosby will only get worse. And the rehab in mid to late 30s is.much harder and longer. He doesn't paint a rosy picture...as the team is constructed now he does not see a long playoff run...

Yea, a long playoff run would be extremely lucky. It's gonna be hard enough making the playoffs haha.

Bjorkstrand traded to Seattle for only a 3rd round pick. Not that columbus would've traded him to us, but that's the kind of deal you can make when you have the cap space to do it. Hextall did a great job opening up cap but then blew every dollar of that cap space on garbage.
