You are correct. However, I watched about a half hour of klingberg tape a few months ago when we knew he wasn't returning to dallas. he's bad in his own end. the analytics back it up.

i watched a lot of guys who may have been of interest to buffalo. I can see why klingberg hasn't gotten his dollars yet.

Looks like no Sabres here, but I do see Sam Reinhart in the top 50.

This sounds right. I'm not familiar with Klingberg, but it sounds like he earns his $ mostly on the power play. If Dahlin is pp1 and Power pp2, we don't need this guy. Don't overpay for redundancy.
