It's easy for other players to put themselves in Jack's shoes. No player wants the team making that decision. - Lunaion
Well, sure. I think the guy's amazement was that Okposo may have helped Jack switch agents to get a trade moving. This was after Jack had made a decision about the surgery.

Where’s Gerbs been? Miss his updates. He’s been quiet since the draft/beginning of free agency. - PrinceChill
This is the start of the quietest part of the league's schedule. Seeing as all of the moves have been made I doubt he would have much to tell. Hopefully an update on Ryan Johnson - in past updates (before prospect camp) he said that Johnson was a bit entitled - I am curious to hear if that opinion changed.

Quiet part of the offseason started for the Sabres 1second after the Bishop trade.
I wouldn’t expect too, too much. They have to start paying their own next year, starting with Tage, Cozens, and Samuelsson. And they’re not going to want to hamstring themselves on future contracts for Dahlin, Power, Krebs, Joker, Mitts, etc.

How many of the player's from the list above are going to be getting big pay days?
Dahlin and Tage?
The thing that crushes your cap is overpaying middle of the road players.
That would apply to any of the above that look like middle of the road players, long term.

I mean, they did more after that buy okay. I want to fast forward like everyone else, buy we are what we are. Buckle up, it's gonna be an exciting season.

I am, and I really hope for a exciting season and they keep growing and hopefully playing meaningful games in February/March. They need that, they need a good season, they don't need to make the playoffs but show the outside the culture and the Organization has changed. It will go a long way in having good FA's or players with Clauses in there contract willing to come here.
