We have all female doged for years about Kyle's value, sans last year. It would be great to role into 8 more years of that.

Tage's situation is pretty unique...producing 12 and 14 pts prior to busting out at 68.
It would be different if he had shown progressive growth like 28, 39, 55 ... then it would be warranted to jump on a long term contract.

If he gets to 80 pts next season, I'd gladly pay him $8.5m+ then.

The entire point of getting ahead would’ve been to try and sign him for 5-6.5 mil before he commands 7-8.
