If they get Weegar signed long term at a decent $, plus the 1st they did OK. If they get Huberdeau signed it was a great deal.

You do realize Huberdeau outscored MT last season? And they got A 1st a prospect and Weegar as well?? If Hubs and Weegar don’t re-up they flip them for more assets. It’s an absolute steal for the Flames. Take a look at Turtles best season before last year. Take a look at how easy it was to get him off his game in round two. The Flames are going to be better off without that douche.

What exactly is it that you can’t blame on Miller? That he was never a C before last season, or that he’s never actually eclipsed the century mark for points in a season, or 40 goals in a season.

Meh, both teams did well. Florida was too soft and perimeter during the playoffs. Calgary needed to replace Gaudreau's skill and puck distribution. Weegar is an upgrade on Guddy. He kinda faded down the stretch into the playoffs. Got exposed by Tampa's speed. So he'll fit right in with the Flames. 😁

I think Barkov is gonna love having a guy like Tkachuk on his wing. Takes some pressure off of him having to be a physical player.
