Bjorkstrand to Seattle for only a 3rd & 4th shows how hard it is to trade. Cap space weaponized is obviously the thing. Dumping cap is a huge hurdle & explains much why we probably won’t see us giving up assets. No buyouts means riding it out & hope for TDL moves instead. It’ll take some good bounce backs for players like Dlcky & Poolman to make that a possibility. Pearson looks to be bouncing down the line up & if not then the kids are not progressing well or BB brings them along slowly. Tough times to be trading without success.

Evaluation guide more like it. One big problem I have with analytics is so many factors can be skewing stats. Travel schedule, injuries & ops goalies to name a few. Coaches alone can affect how teams approach games.

Hog has one option imo to take the next step. Skate & be a buzzsaw. To be a scorer & be a mid 6 winger is his niche if not then a 4th line role isn’t likely. F depth is better & he’s on the outside looking in. Now or never time & BB isn’t exactly his biggest fan.
