Bjorlstrand is better/younger than patches and dadonov though. That deal may age very well i think.

The way the market is going & being so tough to trade it looks more & more like a JT extension will take place. When idk but it definitely won’t be rushed on either side. It could very well come down to a TDL trade if it drags out too long. Next best opportunity to get back the best return. Of course I could be wrong lol. So I’m predicting he resigns for no less than 6yrs. Cannot see 7 or 8 given the signals from JR. going to come down to $’s. 6/8.5m & that will surely get fans chirping my 1st guess if more then the fur will really fly 🤪

Always said that & a winger only if can skate & a true sniper. Wing is the easiest position to play. Rarely are they top play drivers & that is the only reason to pick high. A Kane is rare & even Hall wasn’t in my consideration. A C can convert to wing seamlessly. D is always safe but high picks are risky still. The draft talent depth dictates where they go being C’s go high.

We moved Kassian, who was a worse player at a high AAV than Foegele. Barrie just put up 41 points in 73 games, in what was considered a bad year for him. Marino at 4.4 AAV was just traded from Pit, Schultz just signed for 3.2 AAV. It's cute that you think that Barrie couldn't be moved, while probably also thinking that there is a team out there that is going to take Myers off your hands so that you will have room for a Miller extension.

Garland if he can go at a .70 ppg case is a fair ask. 57pt pace at 4.95m is very doable & good value. More F depth should make this happen or at least close. Last year without much PP TOI he had 52pts & was reeled in to be a better distributor. He continues to do that isn’t out of the question

You think there will be such large parity between teams again this season? Usually there is 1 team below .400. Last year there was 5 teams.

Hard to say as things even out a bit. But in this cap era teams are really struggling to keep 4-5 same core players on the roster. I can see it staying similar for a bit.
