He has a 200’ game on all accounts when Hog doesn't. Hog isn’t top 6 material & with his D being sub par not even 3rd line. 4th line nah. We don’t hide players anymore. - Nighthawk
👍🏻 He is getting a very long audition. I think he will do well. Should be one of the more interesting stories to watch early on |

Culture transition his biggest obstacle. Miky & Pod will help him huge. I’m guessing he’ll fit in nicely & get better as he acclimates. |

I think its likely he adjusts and does fine. Definetly a chance he takes a bit if extra time imo, i like the idea of nit rushing players personally. |

Lots to adjust to to play better D. Also still has to provide offence & at best he’s a 3rd wheel. Odds are stacked against him barring a great camp. He knows what is expected. |

More competition the better. A good sign of depth & nothing is a given. |

OK so Kuzmenko stays no matter what and Hoglander has to have an impressive camp and preseason to stick with the club. Who does he bump if he has a good camp if it's not kuz regardless of him not looking ready? |

Abby should have a good season. The better they do the better our prospects develop. We really to see good things happen down the highway. |

Hogs was hurt last year and snake bitten. Was a half a PPG player in his rookie season. Last year he didn't get to play top 6 and the bottom 6 was absolute poop.
The guy played with Chiasson, Dries, Highmore, Richardson, Lammikko, Richardinson, Petan.
He scored more than any of those guys with the lowest shooting percentage of the team. |

Kuz is boom or bust & will get the chance. Hog had his chance to boom. Holes in his game keep him outside looking in til he proves otherwise. He doesn’t light up the score board. Doesn’t play good D. Cannot PK. Not a PP guy. Small. |

All true but a new season & has to earn his spot. Adding Miky & Kuz are 2 more wingers bumping him down. 3rd line role he has shown he isn’t suited for. If Kuz is 3rd line then Hog earned top 6. Imo Miky at 4.75m is possibly on any top 2 line as he’s at worst a very good 3rd wheel &/or his scoring keeps up. |

Read somewhere, he's working hard this offseason addressing his several shortfalls.

Ppl here arguing Hogs place ignore he’s not a dynamic duo winger. He’s a 3rd wheel. How he can fit into that role isn’t easy. He’s not Garland & he’s definitely not a play driver. |

3rd line role with poop line mates. If he has a better line mates he would do just fine. |

If true great cuz he has no option. If it doesn't impress then his skill set will be hard to prove his liabilities can be ignored. Abby bound to keep working on it would be an easy choice. |
