At the time I had no prob with Hughes falling to us. In hindsight a trade down would’ve looked great today. There I go again 😂

I’ve never been much for woulda coulda shoulda stuff. What happened cannot be changed. I rather see more outta the now with an eye on the future approach. That is something that has held us back for far too long.

At this juncture in time we need & expect some real results. The kids have to bring it & be a force. Mgmt has to get this on the rails & we be a perennial force.

To be fair, trade downs always look good in hindsight because people only think about the good players that got drafted after(Dobson/Bouchard) but conveniently forget the other players who were also being debated here back then(Wahlstrom/Boqvist).

Gave up on the ACGM didn’t like how it could end up. For starters any signing of Klingberg starts with a bigger trade beforehand aka Miller & probably a cap dump somehow.
