WTF - NorthNuck
As the teams who are looking to add a high caliber forward are reduced because they fulfilled their need through FA and trades, this becomes more likely. Once Kadri finds a home, it will be one less team once again.

Other teams that didn't load up will get more desperate. I see something around Miller for Severson+ as a trade that could definitely happen. |

If Miller is going to NJ I would want their 1st rounder for sure, that could easily be a high odds lottery pick. |

Im hoping they hold out for a man that focuses on defending a bit better. Havent replaced Tanev, big mistake. |

I think you are way over estimating the number of teams willing to give up a large package for Miller. The list was short to begin with and getting shorter as time passes.
To open up more options they need to explore other partners and this is where being open to taking a bad contract in return comes in. I don't think Vancouver is willing to do this but that wasn't claimed in the quote provided anyways.

Their 2023 1st would have top 10 protection. I like the idea of Mukhamadulin + Severson. Extend Severson. |

Not sure any team is willing to hand over major assets while being denied permission to talk with Miller and it would still hinge on Miller indicating he will immediately extend... |

What I notice about Alberta drivers in BC.... 130 kmh on straight section.... two feet on the brakes for even a slight curve in the road slowing down to 70kmh then pedal to the metal to get back up to 130 kmh for the straight section.
In a hurry they pass me just outside of Quesnel doing this and arrive 20 seconds ahead of me in Williams Lake. Meanwhile causing several close calls with other vehicles just ahead of me over and over.... (frank)ing meatheads. - boonerbuck

They're bad as well, with their f*cking dogs on their laps who have a better view of the road as they do. Lot's of them are high on med's, brutal drivers. Combine that with summer tourists and you have a real sh*tshow. Pro tip: Stay out of shopping center parking lots. - VanHockeyGuy

It seems that a lot more than just Northy feels that way considering he landed 20th in a Fan surgery

Where does OEL fall on that list?
Edit
No worries, I found him on the other page. |

Vegas Golden Knights +250

Apparently Wheeler really like Lekkermäki, not sure if that’s good or bad.
“Some extremely high praise for #Canucks prospect Jonathan Lekkermäki from @scottcwheeler.
Lekkermäki checks in at #20 on Wheeler’s top-50 ranking of the top drafted prospects under the age of 23.” |

Good news ... but we need like 4 or 5 good prospects. The teams that are going to be good in the next few years have at least that. We lack the prospects, plus the nhl roster is not topping out on the high end. Thus, we remain, perpetually in the middle. |

Knights still over the cap with only 16 signed, are they going to be able to ice a team?

On my 1st work to Medicine Hat I found this true. When it’s 100kmh & a mild corner comes up it’s down to 70km they go then make me brake then lose me when a straight when I want to pass. I drive an Audi A8 & I’m not going to be an idiot to pedal to the metal to catch n pass. I told an Alberta at work this on how stupid that is he said BC drivers are worse. I laughed & told him the highway doesn’t disappear just stick to the speed limit. That got him going so I said how hard is it to stay between the lines & just do 100ish? Over his head it went. Lol |

True other than our top 9 is looking very solid & good depth scoring. |

Yup, hindsight. Trading all those picks away catches up.
