At the time he signed there was some optimism they were going to recharge their playoff potential, but that went in the crapper pretty quickly.

He also can conceivably get better whereas Miller has hit his high watermark and will decline, so yeah there's a HUGE gap in value between Tkachuk and Miller. Plus Miller is a pending UFA and looking for a huge contract for 7-8 years at 30 so that also factors in.

Ya Miller is on a strange trajectory but he probably just had his career year which imo was more impressive than Tkachuk. But Tkachuk hasn’t even reached his prime.

Not really, if you look at the ‘big picture’. When they were forced to move Linden to Long Island it brought back McCabe and Bertuzzi. Todd Bertuzzi was obviously a huge part of the West Coast Express days and McCabe was flipped with a 1st to acquire the pick they used to take the best player in Canucks history….Henrik Sedin.

Could of had some other plug for a buck 49 or buck 50, worst management team in Canucks history and only 7/8 months in, but really what have they done to date....after 6 months it was evident, team will be lucky to win 20 games this year, Miller might break 10 goals and 25 points.
