Seems like they think ep, qh, Bo and Demko are the guys. I for one think they are right, but understand pessimistic views. Young players are a question mark but we do have quite a few that could exceed, the cap and building around them better is the challenge.

I call bullpoop on that, there's definitely a vocal minority of fans that'll complain about anyone and everything, but it's not the majority. The problem is that those vocal minority of fans get louder and louder as the years go by and we're stuck with failure every year and no real hope in sight.

I saw an interview with Jim R from a couple days ago this morning. He feels that the overall forwards have improved but he’s disappointed in the failure to improve the Defense. He said things didn’t go as planned so far but it’s hard to dance when you can’t find a partner and there’s not many teams that can take on cap so it makes it extremely challenging.


I think he’s onto something. Everyone thinks they’re at least a 5-7 million dollar player in a league where the average salary has to be 3.3ish to be cap compliant.

Right up there with Colorado and Tampa!

The D will come around. Just need that right hand shot. Moving Pearson also needs to be addressed. Bottom paring D needs work. With Demko and scoring we will be able to manouver around alot of the d-issues. It's injuries and depth could possibly kill us.

Imo we need Pearson and Myers/poolman gone. And a right handed D along with a more proven D man than Myers... someone that can make smart defensive plays and that has a salary around 4ish.

Pfft, Canucks have four 40 goal guys, and another that should get 30, plus three more that should have 20+. Add in the bottom 6 and the D, they should score around 300 this year.
