We might be stuck with Boeser until he’s a FA. You only get a great return if you are trading a great player. Unless you’re dealing with Jim Benning. - 1970vintage
Boeser has zero value. Imo of course. Cue the fanboys
Is this guy cherry-picking players to support his narrative?
I am sure, if someone wanted to, they could find a few examples of players born in November, compare them to a few players born in December and come up with some graphs and pie-charts that would tell you that you shouldn't take players born in November, because of that information. - Reubenkincade
I don’t think so:
“If we look at F from 1990 on (removing the ones still developing from 2016 to 2022) taken in rounds 1-3 that had the same look as Tippett (older) and Suzuki (younger), but split them into these age groups. Here's what we get...”
To me this means that he took every forward drafted in rounds 1 through 3 from 1990 to 2015 who had similar seasons in D-1, D and beyond as Tippett and Suzuki

I would have to assume then, that he is only using CHL players, as it would be next to impossible to compare players against each other, when they are in different leagues.
Guy has 99pts, trade him
Goalie lighting it up, potential Vezina nominee, trade him.
Young stud defenceman, future Norris nominee, trade him.
(frank) it trade everyone.
And when the trades are made, trade the new players.
Then trade the players that were traded for the players that were traded.
Hey NHL players, come to Vancouver, we’ll give you a contract so the fickle fans can trade you, over and over. We don’t covet ANYONE.

You should never trade anyone, keep every player you ever drafted, let them walk when they’re free agents, you can always sign some other free agent. They best teams in the league never make trade. Colorado, Tampa, Detroit, Chicago, LA, Islander, Bruins, Canadiens. None of these teams who won cups ever made a trade. It’s crazy, you can’t make this poop up.

I like your line of thinking. Wish I would have thought about that.👍

Seriously vintsy, there is not one player on this team that is desired by any of you guys, obviously we are both spewing hyperbole but I’m getting a chuckle out of the value and judgement that is placed on every player.
Everyone knows that players are traded, but the teams you listed above didn’t trade everyone and their fan base didn’t label every player as trash or near trash as is done here 70 times a day…it is what it is I guess.
Just thought I’d throw out my ridiculous take to fit in with all the other ridiculous takes…🤷♂️😝
it was really close but I kinda like Boeser, Hughes, Horvat, Demko and Miller…Pouty is growing on me. - Makita
Slurper! Get with the hate train, can’t you see how much these guys enjoy their lives more than you hating all these players they know so much about!? Why watch hockey if you don’t want to hate all the players on the team idiot!
