I am not disagreeing with that, but until Hino is supplanted I don't think it benefits having 1 of JJ or Quinn sitting. - Buff36
Sure
But it didn’t seem like he was advocating for 1 of them to ALWAYS be sitting
Just that each wouldn’t necessarily be playing 82games- that they’d need a night off here n there
I don’t really backread your convo though |

Not sure what you meant by the “Sabre’s paying Bjork and Hinistroza too much to waive them.” If someone picks them up, you save salary. If they clear, you send them to the AHL. The best players should be playing. I could see if they were up against the cap but they are far from it. |

Roll all 4 lines pretty evenly at 5v5.
All 4 lines have someone whom is good defensively.

What line takes the tough defensive assignments?
I think u tried too hard to even things out,
as opposed to building lines that can fill particular roles necessary to win |

Christ, you don't put Asplund on the 2nd line and they didn't sign Vinny to not play him. |

Disagree. Quinn in the top 6, JJ in the top 9 is the way this season. Most talented dudes play. Always. - The_Inkwell
It's a nice thought for sure. We don't have any evidence to support that currently..at least in a full time capacity |

What’s your guess on how the lines look? |

Went on vacation for the last week and had no cell phone service. What did I miss? Any gerbe sightings or 89 rumors? |

Christ, it's funny how you can say things with such conviction, yet be so completely wrong. |

Don't see why he's wrong, Krebs and Quinn shouldn't be on the 4th line. Depending on how Granato rolls his lines, that could be trouble. |

I mean I did say I’d roll all 4 lines at evens….
Play the hot hand and whose going on a nightly basis. Apart from the Tage line, either one of those lines could be given “2nd line minutes” any given night |

Krebs and Quinn had nothing to do with his statement. You really can't envision any scenario where Asplund gets bumped up to line "2" for a bit? Vinnie can never be a healthy scratch? Come on now. |

My default perspective on roster moves is that any given GM will take the path of least resistance on who makes the team. If a player is waiver exempt, that player usually has to be twice as good as a guy who isn't, otherwise they just send the kid down.
I dont like it, it's just usually what happens |

Never said that did I, could see it, but don't think he should start there. And of course Hino will be a healthy scratch, doesn't mean Quinn should go there. |
