Isak Rosen skating on the second line, Linus Sjodin on the third line for Sweden in pre-tourney WJC summer edition (due to Covid cancellation)
Several notable NHL prospects playing in this one from the most recent draft and last years draft.

It has down here for sure. I'm told that back 10 years ago or so, the heat let up in mid-Sept...it is full on now until mid-Oct.

More people will tune into the Hall of Fame Game then they would the NBA or NHL finals.

~17M people watched Golden State Boston game 6.
A quick look shows that primetime NFL games are ~5M with some down around 3M and some up around 6M.
But you're closer on the Cup Final. ~5M watched this year.
EDIT: MNF last year averaged ~14M and that was with a 16% increase. So they have trouble matching the NBA Finals even in the regular season. |

Perhaps it was the year before then, but I was reading about it this morning that more people turned into the Hall of Fame Game then some of the NBA Final games when they were in the bubble. |

That one maybe, looks like they averaged only 7.5M with one game at 5.9M. |

I had money on a handful of the games and I still only watched like 5 total minutes at the end of one of them. |

That’s the one. Steelers and Cowboys had 7.37M viewers which I’m sure was aided by the preseason being cancelled the year prior
Was one of the most viewed events the entire year in terms of prime time television which is wild.

I didn’t watch basketball really until the Raptors went on their championship run.
My fiancée and her family are huge basketball fans so now I watch it regularly.
I only really turn on a TV if it’s to watch sports |

I went to St. Bonaventure where the only thing to do other than drinking was watching basketball (while drunk). Still couldn't get interested in it. |

Sabres lose Briere, Drury and have to match an offer sheet for Vanek.
Calgary loses Gaudreau, Tkachuk, and then give 8 years to a soon to be 30 year old Huberdeau.
Sometimes you just have to know when to tear it down and start over |

The structure of this contract is super bonkers nuts 👀👀
Totally buyout proof.

Will be interesting to see his production in 5 years, knowing he has 4 more years left on that contract. Full NMC, then M-NTC last couple years.
These GM's just keep killing "themselves" (really their successors) |
