They are $25m under the cap and stood pat this off-season. It doesn't have to be about a specific player, they could get better at literally every position.

I hate that Anderson was a priority. Joker is obvious. Bryson is a bad fit on this team. They badly need another strong 2 way winger and they don't have a 4C.

I don't care about their 4th line. If Girgs and Okposo want to come back for under 4m combined on 1 year deals, that's fine. They are easily replaceable.

Half of this roster are placeholders, and won't be here in 2 years when many of KA's favorites are NHL-ready.

That should be enough to entertain you.

He wasn't healed enough in time for camp so he was omitted. Whether that was his choice, theirs or Buffalo's. He was invited back in June as well. He has another opportunity in December.
