Way too much for him and that was the problem. I meant 12-13 minutes 5x5 and a few more on the PK so that would be around 15 a night which I think he could handle against other teams bottom 6 but again I would only take him back if they didn't plan on bringing anybody in. Not my 1st or 9th option more like #10 - Vukota
Chara on the PK yeah that was great
You’re nuts my friend
(He clears the net) figured I’d say it for you
You’ll get your wish. Hope I’m wrong for both of our sake. |

A bottom pair of Chara/Mayfield doesn't seem to be anyone's idea of a good time.
Can they clear the front of a net? Yup. But, can they break the puck out of the zone and not by icing it or just whipping it around the boards blindly? Not so sure. |

One of the best memories of that place was walking out of there after JT scored against the Panthers in double OT to advance and just taking over the streets and all the locals looking at us like we were facking crazy. Some of them even started honking their horns
Other than that it sucked lol - Vukota
They were probably just trying to figure out which one of you they were going to do a drive by on. |

I was able to talk to Ledecky at one of the games and that got Garth and Doug fired so that place will always be special.

Yormark. The idiot used the word rebrand and it was down hill from there. He spent a couple of years going around the league, observing, picking hockey people's brains and he didn't learn one damn thing. Just another guy who always thinks he's the smartest guy in the room. Complete douche. |

Might be fun to catch a game there. Hell of view for live NHL action. |

My two cents: if this Kadri rumor is legit and he’s brought in, that signing can’t be done in a vacuum. There must be other moves made in conjunction with it, and not just for salary dumping purposes.
Kadri adds a fifth center to the roster. Icing a center to the wing is stupid, especially if you make it Barzal, who might not want any part of the wing in a contract year. The isles have garbage on the wings. Moving one of the centers to make a space for Kadri and bringing a wing back in the seal is essential.
I doubt Barzal or Nelson are traded. Cizikas isn’t going to be moved to put one of these guys as a 4th line center. Pageau makes the most sense. The question is what’s his value? He’s signed at $5M per for a couple more seasons. He is good on face offs, special teams and solid all around. Can he be part of a package to snag a legit scoring winger?
The isles still need another bottom pair D-man as well. I would think that guys like Mayfield, Bailey, Varly, Pageau and Beau are all susceptible to being moved to facilitate a move for Kadri and to remake the roster a bit to try and contend again. - Jethro09

I feel bad for that franchise and it’s players. So much poop and grief to get an arena. We can all relate to it… |
