My friends from Sweden are in town, well Mill Bay, and I was up there having a BBQ yesterday and their 15 year old son introduced me to Voice of Baceprot (VOB) it has a bit of a System of a Down sound but pretty amazing for 20 year old Indonesian girls.

Pretty damn good. They would for sure benefit from a little vocal-coaching or a good studio engineer that could get the vocals a little off the 'stale' side. Much potential.

#Isles fans, multiple transactions are looking close. In addition to all the Nazem Kadri chatter, which I believe is valid, some internal house cleaning is also being taken care of. When will all the dominoes fall? That’s up to you-know-who.

I think I have a legit rumour…
Yesterday, I talked to a guy who’s close to the Virtanen family. He said there are three teams interested in signing Jake; Edmonton, Calgary, and Ottawa. These teams are holding off making a formal contract proposal though as they are waiting to see if there will be a civil suit. Jake’s legal team (and family) believes that won’t happen because of the potential cost to the accuser. If she loses she would have to pay Jake’s legal costs and he racked up a pretty heavy bill on his criminal defence. Somewhere in the $300,000 range.
The family would prefer Jake to play in the US to avoid Canadian media scrutiny.

By not clearing cap space first, and with a shallow depth chart, Lou Lamoriello is not operating from a position of strength. If he’s able to pull off moves to make the win-now Islanders much better and not totally destroy their future, all the respect in the world to him.

So what, JV's a bust. - VanHockeyGuy
True, but I thought it interesting that there are multiple teams (if the rumour is true) wanting to sign him. I thought his brand is now toxic. But I guess the there are teams willing to give someone second, third, and fourth chances.

He has some talent, problem is he's not that smart, which will get him into trouble again. Very much like Lefty.

Lou is a dinosaur, not to mention he’s near 80 years old and about as smart as Trump & Biden, hopefully Allvin can take advantage of his senility.

Lies, I wasn’t talented and I never got into trouble as I had a family at a young age and those two kids were, and always will be, the most important things I’ve ever done in this life time.
