but Brisson saying that he'd like to play for the habs is what led to all these rumors. maybe they're both in on it, not the best strategy imho but it is what it is....

edit: I looked it up and I think Brisson was asked if PLD would want to play for the habs, to which he replied he'd probably see himself in that market... it was taken out of context maybe, but he could've also been clearer with his comments to prevent that from happening lol

Maybe he wants to come to MTL but he doesn't control his destiny at this stage of his career, WPG owns his rights until 2024. If they don't want to trade him, he has to shut up and play. I think they tried to push for a trade, didn't happen so now they are in damage control until he is UFA.

Yeah, I get if you are not happy, you might want to try somewhere else.

That is fine.

But the way he went about does not sit well with me, and if he found 2 places he is not happy with, then who knows what will make him happy in a 3d (or 4th, or 5th....).

Anyways, his agents are just using MTL to pump up his next contract.
