Nice players but no room for the. Frankie will be replaced by Lafreniere on the 1st line and will score 30+ goals playing with those guys. Lafreniere will be replaced by Kratsov on 3rd line ..both a net gain. Copp again nice player but behind Zibanejad and Trochek so at best is a 3c but that spot is Chytil. Nice to have so much depth . They will add what they need at deadline if anything

Whole lotta assumption going on here. The kids line, that was super important for you guys when getting lesser matchups these past playoffs, is being broken up?

The Rangers are in a weird spot. While they have some major young pieces in Shesterkin, Fox and Miller. Kakko is basically ZAR and what Laf turns into remains to be seen, and the rest of their best players are entering the wrong sides of their careers. I'm sure Panarin will be good for a long time, not sure what becomes of Kreider and Zib.

To me the Rangers are not a lock. They need Kreider to be a PP master again, because their 5v5 scoring was atrocious. I'm sure Kreider regresses back to his norm and not 52 goals. Assuming no major injuries, I really do believe the Pens are a playoff team. I also think WSH did what they needed to do to remain a playoff team and will probably be better than people expect. After CAR, WSH and PIT, I think it's all up in the air. No telling what becomes of the NYI if they sign Kadri and others have a rebound year.

I look at the Miles Wood signing and think that's exactly what they should have done with Kap. I know wood missed an entire season to injury, so he probably had less leverage, but still. One year would have been better than two.

I think both Caps and Pens could be on the outside looking in. Isles and Devils will be better. Heck even Columbus will improve. Once again Met will be extremely competitive but barring an injury to Shesterkin Rangers are a lock. If Kreider and Zib are on the wrong side of their careers what are Sid. Gino and Letang????

Haha....talk about a team missing the playoffs the Pens are worse than they were last year and relying on guys like Malkin who lights it up against weak teams disappears against good teams. Good luck though hope Pens do make it and Rangers get another chance to bounce them. Game just ended Panarin OT winner Malkin 1 shot on goal. Jarry his usual playoff sieve

It must be tough to have a team who always plays in the Stanley Cup in April.

We've won 3 Cups in Stanley Cup era. You've won one since the Nazis were in power and only have 4 as an Original 6 team.

The Penguins could lose every playoff series left in the Crosby/Malkin era and I would still be happy.

Isles, Devil's and Cbus won't make it. And Kreider and Zib aren't Sid and Geno, awesome players but it's not apples to apples.

30 and 31 yr old vs 34 and 36 yr old apples and oranges. Expect Sid ,if stays healthy, to be great for few more years. Malkin is a guy who will put up empty points against weak teams and disappear in tough games. Signing Sid and Letang great moves Malkin not so much. Should have used those $$ elsewhere to make team younger and faster. Sentimental signing

Geno:
vs NYR: 2 points in 3 games
vs. TOR: 1 point in 1 game
vs CAR: 2 points in 3 games
vs. TBL: 3 points in 1 game
vs. WSH: 2 points in 2 games
vs. COL: 1 point in 2 games
vs. MIN: 2 points in 1 game

6 points in 7 games vs. NYR in round 1

Seems like he did just fine against good teams.

Almost like you don't know what you're talking about.

Zero impact especially when Pens needed him the most. No show for game 7. Hadn't scored more then 25 goals sincec2017 and -32 player since 2017. Lazy often injured over the hill. Going to regret that contract. 4 more yrs on his final contract good luck

Yes because you definitely regret point per game 2Cs.

You also lose for using plus/minus.
