I'm guessing they'll try to avoid putting anybody on LTIR for as long as possible to bank cap space... the team doesn't travel any further west than Nashville until December, maybe they can eke it out with 20-man roster until then.

They could operate on less then 23 man roster if needed be. With everybody healthy they could still be
Cap compliant. They can function cap wise with Ellis back in. I think they are operating like he will be back at some point.

It is now August -- I am sure ellis has ramped up his training and is getting ready to REALLY ramp up so he is good to go by camp!

Me too! I was on vacation in Sea Isle and visiting friends...my buddy's nephew broke the news. I was always a JR fan so despite getting Forsberg, I wasn't happy about the moves.

I don’t see Tortorella playing both MacEwen and D Lo with success. They both have low production and have triple digits PIM. Lots of PK practice. NAK looks like a Lady Bing candidate by comparison.

Dunno if you’re familiar with Wishbone Ash, but you may enjoy them, as well. And Beck, Bogert, and Appice. Possibly Cactus.

Thanks! I know a few of them but will check out the others. I've been into Be Bop Deluxe and Crack the Sky lately. Always appreciate tips on rare bands.

I know it's only a few players, but....

Let's hope the trend of handing out prove it contracts continue way past this season, like many other teams do and benefit from.
