Two down, 998 more to go.

Ole! Ole!

Now MJL, what exactly was the details of tbe initial response that was easy to understand? 😀😀

Not interested in playing your game. You're unhappy because I won't walk through the door you want me to. Be an adult and have a conversation. My original point stands.

Exactly....not sure why there's the constant need to turn a player into something they're not. We're seeing it now with the Phantoms though. The coach is developing guys to model his game, not coaching guys to develop and grow their individual skills and game....I'd rather have Smith at the helm of the Phantoms than Lappy

Such a backwards and archaic approach. An example is Yeo's comments that he is not worried about points with Frost. You should be. Success is what breeds more success. Success breeds confidence. Don't knock back a players best attribute in order to build him up in other areas. Accentuate his best skills and put him in position to use them while building up other areas of his game. Support him with the right players. A skilled player being successful at the NHL level using his skills is what is going to springboard a player. The Flyers have it backwards.

You seem rather perturbed. Glad to know I am doomed. What little victory should I enjoy? Can you elaborate please?

Kyle Calder might be in my top five Flyers I really didn’t like. It’s been awhile since I’ve thought of this list but Kyle Calder and Randy Jones always come to mind. It might be safe to say Andrew MacDonald has since made the list. Kevin Hayes has to be the number 1 overrated Flyer being sold to me when signed.

yeah, wasn't a fan of calder. wasn't big on coburn either.

always wished we signed asham for a longer deal. shelley was a dumb signing. stewart was pretty bad as well. vinny l. made absolute no sense. wanted to keep jagr for additional time.

but rathje is easily my number 1 can't stand.

I'm sorry but you have no clue here. The points will come when a player, especially a center, plays the right way. Frost was not doing what he needed to do off the puck, and was certainly not strong on the puck. Frost was also not jumping on pucks as well as he could. These were the areas he needed to work on to a be a viable NHL player. He himself admitted that it was good for him this past season and that by the end of the season a lot of things started to click. You yourself many times have reminded everyone that Frost missed an entire season of development due to his shoulder surgery. Does it not then make sense that Frost had some developing yet to do in order to be a viable NHL player? This development process is not archaic at all. Frost is not Connor MacDavid. Frost is not even Tim Stützle in terms of hockey skill. Frost needed to value and learn how to do these other things well in order for his skillset to shine, and we started to see that as the season progressed. The one thing I will agree with you on is Frost should have seen more Power play ice time, especially given the state of the team in the standings and how insulin the PP was last season.

Desperate teams do desperate things. Calgary could not afford to lose him and had to compensate for the taxes and currency difference.

Just cause you don't like it doesn't make it weak.

And in case you didn't notice, your takes are pretty close to worthless as it is.

But a kid might read one of your thinly veiled bigoted opinions and take them to heart. So you really need to focus more of your energy on recruiting members to your little group. So they can be shown on TV as a cautionary tale of the power of unified idiots.

What happened to your mantra of teams needing elite players to succeed? Or is Huberdeau not an elite player in your view?

I loved Brayden Coburn. This team could use a Brayden Coburn right now! Perfect example of doing all the little things right.

Vinny did make sense. We lost Briere and replaced Briere with Vinny. It just didn’t workout.

😀
It is hard to have an "adult conversation" with someone who is so childishly insecure that he will pathologically keep trying to avoid confessing that he didn't know what he was talking about when he made that comment (even when that error and confession occur behind the anonymity of a handle).

It becomes even harder when that person thinks that by repeatedly avoiding fessing up and desperately backtracking, he is fooling a single person into thinking he is doing anything other than confessing.

So..MJL

no....vinny did not, he was washed as a player when signed. but it is all opinion. never said coburn couldn't play or we couldn't use a better defender. just that i didn't like him. lmao

This is a textbook example of not having an adult conversation. I know that you're wounded because you can't do what you want. Somehow you think that repeating the same thing over and over is an intelligent response. Nobody is fooled by it and nobody cares! Grow up.

And yet, the childish conversation would end simply by you explaining what you meant by the words "When they return fire, it won't be against Ukraine" .

What exactly would the Russians do, MJL?

I have sympathy for Griner. Getting caught between massive political machineries are always a survival exercise of the BS projected.
Imprisoning anyone for TRUMPed up charges is a major blow against justice and a major victory for injustice systems.
As a somewhat moral person, this is offensive to me.
As a pragmatic person, not so much.

What a terrible take by you! Vinny was totally washed up when the Flyers signed him and that signing made no sense at all. Chris Gratton may be the worst though. The Flyers simply didn't need his lazy ass. Gotta love Fat Balloon though!
