jebus... if those two got into a fistfight it would probably look like the time Paul Byron got real courageous and decided it was a good idea to fight Weegar, to honor the player "code". so, so dumb.
- Pat1993

Yeah, Byron shortened his career for that.

Really sucks considering what he was doing after being a waiver pick up

indeed. I wouldn't necessarily say he got komisa-wrecked but it's true that he hasn't been quite the same since. I'm not against fights in the NHL but that kind of stuff is just so idiotic and unnecessary, his teammates should've talked him out of it.

so apparently Drouin is feeling really good physically, his wrist is 100% healed but he mentions it won't quite be the same as before, so he'll have to make a few changes to his game... hopefully he'll continue dominating the assists column like we know he can.

Karine mentioned he was basically trying to avoid shooting the puck at the LSHL game the other day, but according to this article he recently played ball-hockey and even dominated the play. things are looking bright for him next season..!!!

He has played ten years, scored 20 or more only 4 times......if we want to be nice and add in the two 19 goal seasons it is six.....but then we also need to be mean and point out the last two seasons....disasters.

The game is changing, and not in a way that benefits Gally's style, so he best reinvent himself or that 6.5 a year cost is buyout central.

Only a matter of time now before I wanna own 47 guns and shoot the first person that puts a single toe (mistakenly or not) on my front yard.

who would've thought Drouin's assists would ultimately bring people to become trigger-happy.

Technically, if he does get assists, it is because someone else got trigger happy.

whether it's a puck or a trespasser, the important thing is to shoot.

The game is changing, and not in a way that benefits Gally's style, so he best reinvent himself or that 6.5 a year cost is buyout central.

Would probably cost way too much to buy out, so forget it

Gallagher is obviously being overpaid with that contract, but I doubt it'll get to the point where a buyout would become the only desirable option left. yes he struggled last year but that was an anomaly for basically the whole (frank)ing roster, he'll be fine imho.

They have to find him a center (Fido).

yeah in terms of evaluating players I wouldn't consider last year as a very good measuring stick, it was a complete poopshow for everyone. I get your concern but I'm confident Gally will pull through and find consistency to his game again.

I'm very curious to see how Dach will fit in, let's hope he develops good chemistry with whoever he's playing with.
