well the oilers were winning the draft lottery too often, not sure what the league would do for a team that can't win in the playoffs... besides, for everyone except leafs fans the entertainment value is simply too high, their post-season failures never get old.

They will have 1 game elimination playoff entries, like thye do in MLB... only a matter of time. They want more team, and hence more revenue.
